- Location Data: We collect precise location data (GPS) with your permission to help you discover nearby salons in Ranchi.
- Device Information: Device model, OS version, and app usage statistics for technical optimization.
2. Children's Privacy
Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover such data has been collected, we delete it immediately.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data strictly for the following purposes:
- To facilitate connections between users and local salon partners.
- To process service bookings and manage secure payments.
- To send essential booking updates, reminders, and security OTPs.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal data. We only share necessary details with Salon Partners you book with. Our app may contain links to third-party services (like Razorpay); we are not responsible for their independent privacy practices.
5. Data Security & Retention
We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. Information is retained as long as your account is active. You have the Right to Deletion; you can request account removal by contacting us.
6. User Rights & Account Deletion
You have the "Right to be Forgotten." You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. To do so, please email us at support@digisaloon.in with the subject "Account Deletion Request." We process all requests within 30 days.

Terms of Service
By accessing or using the DigiSaloon platform, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Platform Role & Limitations
DigiSaloon acts as a Technology Aggregator. We do not provide salon services ourselves and are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided by Salon Partners.
2. Platform Fees & Payments
- Convenience Fee: DigiSaloon charges a nominal "Platform & Technology Fee" (up to 3%) on every online transaction. This fee covers payment gateway costs, security, and platform maintenance.
- Gross Billing: Gateway charges are calculated based on the total transaction value (Service Price + Platform Fee).
- Pricing: Service prices are set by Salon Partners. DigiSaloon does not modify these base prices.
3. Salon Partner Subscriptions
- Subscription Model: Salon Partners must pay a fixed subscription fee to access platform features.
- Manual Renewals: Renewals are manual. Partners must renew every cycle (30 days) to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Access Restriction: Expired subscriptions result in temporary suspension of the Partner Dashboard.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, including the DigiSaloon logo, app design, and proprietary code, is the intellectual property of DigiSaloon. Unauthorized reproduction or "scraping" is strictly prohibited.
5. Settlements & Cancellations
- Settlement: Payments are settled into Partner bank accounts via the standard cycle (T+2) through our payment partners.
- Cancellations: Users may cancel up to 30 minutes before the appointment. Refunds (minus processing fees) take 5-7 working days.
6. User Conduct & Liability
- Conduct: Any misuse, fake bookings, or fraudulent activity will lead to an immediate and permanent account ban.
- Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes arising from the use of DigiSaloon shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
